Tom Patros has over 20 years of work experience. In 2002, they began working at Corning Incorporated as a Senior Analyst, where they were a technical leader for the public web site, managing projects, designing and developing web content, and advocating for usability and UX. In 2005, they moved to Hobart and William Smith Colleges as a Web Developer. In 2006, they returned to Corning Incorporated as a Composite Applications Technical Leader. From 2007 to 2010, they worked at NimbleUser as a Developer. In 2010, they founded Red Argyle and served as the CTO. Currently, they are the Host and Troublemaker of You Can't Do That on Salesforce!, a weekly stream where they build silly things on the Salesforce platform for laughs and learning.
Tom Patros attended the University at Buffalo from 1998 to 1999. Tom then attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1999 to 2002, where they earned a BS in Media and Communications. Tom has also obtained numerous certifications from Salesforce, including Salesforce Certified Strategy Designer, Salesforce Certified Community Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer, Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer, Salesforce Certified Sharing and Visibility Designer, Salesforce Certified Data Architecture and Management Designer, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Administrator, and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
