Dr. Courtney Reinert

Dr. Courtney Reinert has an extensive work experience that spans over 17 years. In 2022, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Burst Analytics, a start-up company helping businesses develop loyal customers and employees. Prior to this, they co-founded Red Berry Innovations, Inc. in 2018, a cybersecurity business using offensive methods to identify vulnerabilities to protect products or people. From 2017-2018, they served as the Director of Business Operations at the Nebraska Applied Research Institute, where they setup new banking, accounting standards, and practices for the organization. From 2014-2017, they were the Sr. Manager, Global Product Integration at PayPal, where they led a team of Product Integration Managers based in North America and drove global collaboration. From 2013-2014, they were the Assistant VP/Senior Business Analyst at Bank of the West, where they evaluated data, ensured consistency, provided data interpretation, deployed results measurements, and presented information. From 2011-2013, they were the Senior Manager of Risk Management at Proxibid, where they supervised the Risk Management and Analytics teams to mitigate losses, provide company reporting, improve overall company efficiency, manage all vendor and partner relationships, and oversee programs. From 2004-2011, they were employed at PayPal in various roles, including Consumer Risk Manager, Risk Process & Product Excellence, Risk Operations Product Manager, Account Review Supervisor, Operations Planning Analyst, and Executive Escalations Sr. Agent. From 2004-2003, they were a Licensed Private Investigator at Jasa Investigations, where they conducted criminal background checks, insurance fraud investigations, investigations of employees for government and private organizations, as well as special investigations of any nature. Lastly, from 2003-2004, they were a Financial Planner at New York Life Insurance Company, where they served as an advisor to ensure all financial needs for the client were met. Additionally, they were responsible for scheduling appointments through businesses, executives, and referrals, presenting solutions, closing sales, and providing follow-up on any future needs of the client.

Dr. Courtney Reinert holds a Ph.D. in Human Capital Management from Bellevue University, obtained in 2019. Dr. Courtney also holds an MBA in International Management from Bellevue University, obtained in 2007. Her Bachelor degree in Marketing Management was obtained from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2003. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a Certified Information Security Manager from ISACA in 2018, an Effective Requirement Gathering from Agile Transformations Inc. in 2011, a Fraud Risk Management from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners in 2011, a Real World Agile and Scrum from Agile Transformations Inc. in 2011, a Practical Product Management from Pragmatic Marketing in 2011, a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in 2011, a PMP Exam Prep from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2011, a Project Management from Cadence in 2010, a Requirements Elicitation and Methods from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2010, a Successful Project Management from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2010, a Product Management from eBay/Paypal University in 2008, and a SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM in 2020.
