John Messenger

John Messenger has a strong background in equity research and investor relations. John has worked at Barratt Developments plc since May 2020 as the Group Investor Relations Director. Prior to this, they held similar positions at Redburn Partners, RBS Markets & International Banking, and Morgan Stanley. John began their career as an Equity Research Analyst at Merrill Lynch and Nat West Markets. Before that, they worked as a Trainee Accountant at Arthur Andersen.

John Messenger attended Austin Friars School in Carlisle, Cumbria from 1979 to 1986. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at Lancaster University from 1987 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science.
