Alberto Gil is a Senior Electrical Engineer at Red Eléctrica de España, where since May 2006, contributions have been made to the operation of the Spanish electrical system and the integration of renewable energies. Previously, from 2008 to 2016, Alberto held the position of Técnico de Planificación de la Red de Transporte, focusing on the planning of the transmission network and the study of demand connection requests. In addition to engineering roles, Alberto serves as a professor in the Master's program in Business and Energy Law at Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo since September 2009. Alberto holds an Industrial Engineering degree in Automation and Electronics from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, completed a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D., and undertook specialization in energy economics, industrial economics, and market at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
