Alan Wylde

Alan Wylde serves as the Head of Development at Red Kite Community Housing since June 2021, where responsibilities include achieving ambitious development targets through housing delivery and regeneration projects. Previously, Alan held the position of Head of Development at Oxford City Council from September 2014 to June 2021, overseeing the delivery of 115 new council homes and managing a significant program of over 2000 homes. In earlier roles, Alan was the Development and Regeneration Manager for South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils and the Commissioner for Growth and Regeneration at Swindon Borough Council, where strategic initiatives were implemented to support economic growth and housing delivery. Alan's career began at Swindon Borough Council, focusing on affordable housing delivery and innovative solutions for vulnerable populations. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Maths and Physics from the University of Leeds and a Master's Degree in Housing from Oxford Brookes University, complemented by a Prince 2 Project Management certification.
