Alexander Mayer

Alexander Mayer is an experienced embedded software developer currently employed at Red Lion Controls since October 2018, where responsibilities include the creation of Linux-based firmware for industrial routers, gateways, and firewalls, utilizing the Yocto build system for various platforms. Previously, Alexander contributed to KUKA Systems GmbH as an intern and later completed a supervised bachelor thesis focused on process data collection in sensitive robot applications within Industrie 4.0. Earlier career experience includes an internship where software modules for optimized robot paths were developed, as well as a foundational role in production at DS Smith. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Aalen University, specializing in information and communication technologies.
