John Matwey

John Matwey is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in risk management and fintech. As the Founding Partner of Red Swan, LLC since January 2008, John has spearheaded the development of cloud-based risk data infrastructure solutions for financial institutions, including the RiskON platform for comprehensive risk management. Prior roles include Risk Manager at The Carlyle Group | Vermillion Asset Management LLC, where John implemented RiskMetrics analytics and developed specialized risk modeling tools, and Head of Risk Management at Tremont Capital Management, focusing on risk budgeting and analysis methods. John's career began with a foundation in risk analysis and management at RiskMetrics Group and Harbourside Capital Management. John holds an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a BS in Chemistry/Biochemistry from Marietta College.
