Ian Hamilton, MBA

Ian Hamilton, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Currently, they serve as the Head of Business Development at Redactable® since May 2022. In this role, they are responsible for creating and implementing strategies to target and partner with government, legal, financial, and healthcare customers. Ian designs and runs outreach campaigns and utilizes SQL and Microsoft SSMS for data analysis to support sales functions.

From October 2020 to May 2022, Ian worked at the U.S. Small Business Administration, initially as a Loan Officer and later as a Team Lead, managing a team of up to 25 Loan Officers. Their responsibilities included reviewing high priority applications for EIDL funding, training new contractors on SBA procedures, and policies.

Prior to that, Ian served as the Chief Executive Officer at TruTriage from November 2018 to October 2021. Ian collaborated with local governments to secure federal funding for nurse triage lines and managed a team of software developers. Ian also established strategic partnerships with companies like UberHealth and Lacuna Health.

Before their time at TruTriage, Ian worked as a Business Development Manager at Tenax Corporation, where they prospecting and established new business in North America for plastic netting applications.

Ian also served as an Area Sales Manager at MPW Industrial Services from July 2014 to August 2017. In this role, they prospecting and managed heavy industrial accounts in the Northeast Region, meeting and exceeding sales budgets.

Ian started their career as a Sales Engineer at The Strouse Corporation from April 2013 to June 2014, where they maintained relationships with targeted end-users and established new customers and distributors.

Ian also gained experience as a Quality Manufacturing Scientist at BD from October 2012 to April 2013.

Ian Hamilton, MBA, completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Analytics from the American University - Kogod School of Business from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Microbiology, General from Penn State University between 2006 and 2012. Ian's educational journey began at Westminster High School, where they completed their high school education from 2002 to 2006.
