Ranga Fernando ,MAAT,CBA, AFA, MIPA)

Ranga Fernando has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries, beginning in 2012 as a Front Office & Outlet Cashier at Camelot Beach Hotel. From 2013 to 2014, Ranga worked as a Front Office Receptionist at Jetwing Hotels, where they gained experience in dealing with customers and staff. In 2014, Ranga joined Berjaya Hotel Colombo as a Cost Controller, responsible for preparing food and beverage cost reports and monitoring overall hotel costs.

Moving on, Ranga worked at EY from 2017 to 2019, starting as an Audit Supervisor and later transitioning to the role of Senior Accountant. As a Senior Accountant, they were responsible for objectively reviewing business processes, evaluating risk management procedures, and other key responsibilities.

In 2019, Ranga joined Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts as Assistant Head of Finance, a position they held until 2021. Their role involved overseeing financial operations and contributing to the financial management of the company. After that, in 2021, Ranga served as an Assistant Manager Finance at OBLU SELECT at Sangeli Maldives until 2022.

Currently, Ranga is working as a Cluster Finance Manager at COMPASS HOSPITALITY (UK) LIMITED, a role they started in 2022.

Throughout their career, Ranga has gained experience in finance, accounting, audit, and hospitality, showcasing their adaptability and expertise in various roles.

Ranga Fernando pursued their education in the field of Accounting and Finance. In 2014, they completed their studies at the Association of Accounting Technicians Sri Lanka, earning the title of Fully Qualified Accounting Technician. Subsequently, from 2015 to 2018, Ranga attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, where they pursued a Strategic Level (Final) degree in Accounting and Finance.
