Jacqui Castle

Jacqui Castle is a creative writing instructor at both the Redbud Writing Project and the University of North Carolina Asheville, with a focus on nurturing emerging writers. As an author, Jacqui Castle is recognized for the award-winning science fiction, dystopian novel The Seclusion and is currently developing two additional novels. With extensive experience as a freelance writer and journalist since 2009, Jacqui Castle has contributed to various publications and offers services including copy editing and web design. Previous journalistic work includes a role at Mountain Xpress, where Jacqui Castle researched and wrote for the food sections, building a network of contacts. Jacqui Castle is currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts, following a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern Oregon University.
