Mary Beth Aschenbrenner, MSc, MHA has a long and varied work experience. Mary Beth began their career in 2002 as a Medical Records Specialist/Administrative Assistant at Wake Radiology. In 2007, they transitioned to Vanderbilt University where they worked as a Clinical Pathology Research Assistant/Graduate Student. In 2011, they began working at Vanderbilt Heart and Vascular Institute as an Advanced Heart Failure Research Program Manager and Clinical Trials Project Manager II. That same year, they began working at Vanderbilt University Heart and Lung Transplantation Programs as a Certified Transplant Preservationist. In 2015, Mary Beth moved to Duke University Medical Center where they worked as a Program Manager for Clinical Data Management and an Assistant Research Practice Manager. Most recently, in 2021, Mary Beth joined REDCap Cloud as the Vice President of Professional Services and Vice President of Client Services.
Mary Beth Aschenbrenner has a diverse educational background. Mary Beth obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Peace College in 2006. Mary Beth then went on to receive a Master of Science (M.S.) from Vanderbilt University in 2011, specializing in Vascular Biology/Protein Biochemistry: Cellular and Molecular Pathology Program. Currently, Mary Beth is pursuing a Master of Health Administration (M.H.A.) from Appalachian State University, with a focus on Information Systems Management, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Mary Beth also holds two professional certifications, Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) from the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) and Certified Transplant Preservationist (CTP) from the American Board for Transplant Certification.
