Simon started their career as an Engineer at Onyx Group in 1999, where they worked on the operation and management of the national UK network and associated ISP services. Simon also developed and supported bespoke connectivity solutions, multi-site WANs, and Linux-based services. In 2005, they became a Senior Engineer, and in 2007, they were promoted to the role of Network Manager, overseeing the networks team and leading product development. Simon continued to work at Onyx Group until 2016 when it was acquired by Pulsant. Simon then became the Network Operations Manager at Pulsant, where they managed the networks team, operated the UK network and associated ISP services, and developed and supported connectivity solutions. In 2018, they joined Redcentric as a Core Network Engineer. Simon W. attended school at Hinchingbrooke from 1984 to 1994. Simon then pursued their undergraduate degree at Teesside University from 1994 to 1998, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (honors) in Media Technology. Simon went on to further their education at Teesside University, obtaining a Master of Science in Computing from 1998 to 2001.
