Ursula Mpakanyane

Ursula Mpakanyane has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of risk management, compliance, internal audit, and accounting. Ursula worked at Redefine Properties as the Head of Risk and Compliance from March 2022, and prior to that, they held the position of Head of Internal Audit from December 2017 to February 2022. Before joining Redefine Properties, Ursula worked at Cushman & Wakefield as a Group Internal Audit Specialist from March 2016 to November 2017. Ursula also has prior experience at Redefine Properties Limited as an Internal Audit Specialist from March 2013 to February 2016. Starting their career at Clientele Limited as an Internal Auditor from November 2010 to February 2013, Ursula gained valuable expertise in the field. Ursula began their professional journey at A2A Kopano Incorporated as an Accountant and Auditor from January 2008 to October 2010. Overall, Ursula Mpakanyane has a proven track record in the areas of risk, compliance, and internal audit.

Ursula Mpakanyane completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science) during the period of 2018-2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a specialization in Internal Auditing from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria. Ursula completed their undergraduate studies in the field of Internal Auditing from 2005-2007. In addition, they earned a certification in the Young SDG Innovators Programme from the United Nations Global Compact in September 2021.
