Barak Korren

Barak Korren is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in DevOps and IT infrastructure. Since August 2014, Barak has held various roles at Red Hat, currently serving as Senior Principal Software Engineer in the RHEV-CI DevOps team, focusing on the continuous integration system for Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization. Prior to Red Hat, Barak worked at MIT Israel as an Outsourcing/Linux Specialist, where automation and big-data system management were key contributions. Barak's career began at Malam, managing diverse server environments, and included a significant tenure in the Israel Defense Forces, where leadership roles ranged from IT Section Leader to DBA Team Leader, all while advancing IT infrastructure and database security. Barak holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a BSc in Computer Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
