Daniel McPherson

Daniel McPherson is an accomplished technology professional currently serving as a Distinguished Engineer at Red Hat since February 2024. Previously, McPherson held various roles at Red Hat from February 2011 to February 2023, including Senior Director of Software Engineering and multiple distinguished engineering positions. Prior to joining Red Hat, McPherson worked at IBM as an Advisory Software Engineer from January 2001 to February 2011. McPherson earned a degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where studies took place from 1996 to 2000.
