Luis Tomas Bolivar

Luis Tomas Bolivar is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in both academic and industry settings. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Red Hat since September 2016, Luis has progressed through roles including Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer. Prior to Red Hat, Luis worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Umeå University from November 2012 to September 2016, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Castilla-La Mancha between April 2007 and November 2012. Luis holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science, alongside a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree, all from the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha.
