Dan Sajner

Dan Sajner has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Dan currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Redi.Health, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Beam Benefits, where they served in multiple roles. Dan was a Lead Engineer from January 2022 to March 2023, responsible for technical engineering leadership for the acquisitions side of the product. Before that, from July 2019 to February 2022, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Beam Benefits. Dan also worked as a Software Engineer at the company from May 2018 to July 2019.

Prior to their time at Beam Benefits, Dan was employed at CoverMyMeds as a Systems Engineer. Dan contributed to platform engineering, automated VM creation and configuration using Ruby and Puppet, and scaled the company's applications from a few to over 100 running in multiple data centers. Dan worked at CoverMyMeds from June 2014 to May 2018.

Before their tenure at CoverMyMeds, Dan worked at CAS as a DevOps Engineer - Consultant from March 2013 to June 2014. Dan was involved in streamlining software delivery, writing puppet, ruby, and shell scripts to automate and manage production systems.

From December 2010 to April 2013, Dan served as a Senior Systems Engineer at OCLC. During this time, they supported the operations team on major software development and systems integration projects. Dan developed Perl software to automate day-to-day operational tasks.

Dan's early career includes work at The Boeing Company as a Systems Engineer from April 2005 to December 2010. In this role, they conducted systems engineering and analysis for satellite control software and hardware. Dan also worked as a Space Vehicle Engineer from April 2005 to March 2006, responsible for real-time monitoring and trending of satellite data and anomaly resolution. Throughout their work at Boeing, they gained extensive knowledge of the Solaris Unix operating system and large-scale, real-time software applications.

Dan Sajner attended The Ohio State University from 2000 to 2005. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
