Miriam Colgan

Miriam Colgan has extensive work experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. Miriam started their career as an RGN at St. James's Hospital Dublin in 1991, and then worked as an Advanced Practice Nurse at NEW YORK UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL CENTER from 1992 to 1995. Miriam then moved into the pharmaceutical field, working as a Medical Representative at Kora Healthcare from 1996 to 1997, and as a Hospital Sales Representative at Glaxo Smith Kline from 1997 to 1999. Miriam then joined SANOFI-AVENTIS PHARMACEUTICALS as a Hospital Sales Specialist from 1999 to 2003. Miriam later worked as a Product Manager at Sanofi aventis in 2003, and currently holds the role of Health Consultant at RediCare since 2018.

Miriam Colgan's education journey began in 1986 when they enrolled at University College Dublin to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Psychology. Miriam successfully completed their degree in 1989. Following a break in their education, Miriam returned to University College Dublin in 1995 and completed a Higher Diploma in Safety, Health, and Welfare at Work, which took their two years to finish. In 1999, Miriam attended the Irish Management Institute, where they studied Business and Marketing for a year.
