Kyle Banker

Kyle Banker is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in developer experience engineering and field engineering. Currently serving as VP of Developer Experience Engineering at Redis since November 2018, Kyle has led strategic teams in building reusable components for customer success, contributing to areas such as vector search and advanced caching patterns. Previous roles at Redis included Sr. Director positions focused on developer advocacy and education, where Kyle developed product demos and coordinated global educational initiatives. Prior to Redis, Kyle held key engineering roles at Oracle, Snapjoy, MongoDB, and Alexander Interactive, showcasing expertise in data engineering, API design, and distributed systems. Kyle earned a Bachelor of Arts with Summa Cum Laude honors in Philosophy and English Literature from the University of Northern Colorado and holds a DELF certification from Université de Perpignan.
