Karen Wilson

Karen Wilson has a diverse work experience in the field of social services. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Manager at Cornerstones of Care, where they provided case management services, monitored outcomes, and advocated for the rights and needs of children and their families. Karen then served as an IIS Specialist at Gillis, where they provided crisis-oriented treatment and support for families with children in out-of-home care. In 2008, they became an IIS/FRS Supervisor at Family Facets, implementing intensive in-home services and supporting families at risk of having their children removed from the home. In 2016, they worked as a Behavioral Interventionist at FosterAdopt Connect, providing crisis-oriented treatment and support for families with children in foster care. Currently, they are serving as a Clinical Team Lead at ReDiscover, where they provide leadership, clinical supervision, and evaluation for staff members, as well as crisis intervention and mental health/substance abuse education groups.

Karen Wilson earned a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from Lincoln University in Missouri from 1996 to 2000.
