Michael B.

Michael B. has a long history of experience in the engineering field. Michael began their career in 2006 as an Electrical Engineering Co-op at Emhart Glass. In 2007 and 2008, they worked as a Validation Engineering Co-op at Intel. From 2009 to 2013, they worked as an Embedded Firmware Engineer at Sparta, where they developed Linux kernel drivers and embedded firmware solutions for customers. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Principal Embedded Firmware Engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation, where they developed Linux Kernel drivers, C++ applications, and software products using advanced cryptographic algorithms and PKCS11. Finally, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Envieta LLC since 2017 and will become a Software Engineer at Redpanda Data in 2023.

Michael B. attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
