Gerhard van Rensburg

Gerhard van Rensburg is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project controls and quantity surveying. Currently serving as Project Control Lead at Redpath Mining since November 2019, Gerhard provides support and training across Canadian projects and has contributed to international projects as well. In previous roles, including Project Controls Systems SME at Redpath and Quantity Surveyor at The De Beers Group of Companies, Gerhard has demonstrated expertise in managing project controls systems, financial adjudication, contract management, and commercial advisory. Gerhard's career began as a Student/Trainee Quantity Surveyor at Wetbou Trust and progressed through roles at WorleyParsonsTWP. Gerhard holds a BSc. in Quantity Surveying from the University of the Free State and a BCom in Commerce from the University of South Africa.
