Peter Ding

Peter Ding has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Peter started in 1995 as a Sr. Network Engineer at Acer America Corp, where they focused on reducing communication costs and implementing a data security strategy. From 1997 to 2000, they worked as a Network Manager at Creative Labs, overseeing network and telecom operations and managing a team of 14 technical staff. In 2000, they joined Cisco Systems, Inc., where they held multiple roles over the span of 19 years. As a Technical Leader, they resolved customer cases and collaborated with various teams to provide solutions and improve product design and quality. From 2009 to 2019, they served as a Sr. Security Technical Leader / Solution Architect, leading diverse teams and providing security assessments, design, and implementations. Peter also aligned with Cisco's vision of accelerating the relevance of the network as the platform. In 2019, they joined RedSeal, Inc. as a Sr. Cloud Security Architect.

Peter Ding has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Electrical Engineering from Hunan University. Peter also holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota State University. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained various certifications, including a Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate from ISACA in July 2018, a CCIE Routing and Switching certification from Cisco in June 2005, and a CCIE Security certification from Cisco in September 2003.
