Matt Taylor

Matt Taylor is the SVP of Business Development at RedShield Security. Matt has over 10 years of experience in the industry, having previously worked as an account manager at both F5 Networks and Cisco Systems. In 2009, they co-founded Explorer Boats Limited, where they served as director for nine years. During their time there, they successfully negotiated a complicated legal claim against a large insurance company and successfully restructured the finances. Matt also completed a multi-year strategic plan that was instrumental in securing two rounds of government R&D funding and making the company a finalist for Auckland North R&D Company of the Year. In 2018, they sold the business.

Matt Taylor has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The University of Auckland.

Matt Taylor reports to Andy Prow, CEO, Co-Founder. They work with Graeme Neilson - Chief Research Officer, Sam Pickles - CTO, Co-founder, and Jason Decker - VP, Business Development & Solution Architecture.
