Rahul Powar

Rahul Powar is a seasoned technology entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in cybersecurity and product development. As the Founder and CEO of Red Sift since June 2015, Rahul has focused on democratizing essential cybersecurity technologies. Additionally, since July 2018, Rahul serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Co-op, the UK's largest consumer cooperative. Prior to these roles, Rahul was the Head of Advanced Products at Thomson Reuters, overseeing a multi-disciplinary team centered on innovative product development across various platforms. Rahul also founded and led Apsmart, a London-based mobile platform development firm, prior to its acquisition. Earlier career highlights include serving as a Technical Architect at Shazam Entertainment Ltd., where Rahul contributed to the development of key client experiences and backend systems for music recognition. Rahul holds an MEng in Computing from the University of Warwick and received education at the American School in London.
