Mayo Nissen

Mayo Nissen is the current Head of Design at Reduct.Video. Prior to this, they served as the Design Lab Director for the Mayor's Office of the Chief Technology Officer for the City of New York from January 2020 to October 2021. In this role, they worked with communities and City agency partners to deliver human-centered digital services and increase design, digital, and technical capacity across the largest municipal government in the country.

Before their work with the City of New York, Mayo was a Creative Director and Head of Interaction Design at frog, a global strategy and design firm, from January 2012 to December 2019. In this role, they led project teams and headed the interaction design discipline in the New York studio. They were also a member of the global design research working group.

From 2010 to 2012, Mayo was a Principal Designer at Urbanscale. And from 2012 to 2012, they served as a Consultant at ReD Associates.

Mayo Nissen has a Master's degree in Interaction Design from Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design, a BSc in Industrial Design from Brunel University London, and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from UWC Atlantic College.

They work with Richard Beeson - Head of Customer Success, Punit Jajodia - Country Director, Nepal, and Deepen Gurung - Video Editor. Mayo Nissen reports to Prabhas Pokharel, Co-Founder.
