Ashraf Piranie

Ashraf Piranie has a strong background in finance and operations, with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the banking industry. Ashraf started their career at Alliance & Leicester in 1989, where they served as the Director of Finance for the Retail Bank for 16 years. In 2005, they joined the Islamic Bank of Britain as the Joint Managing Director and Finance Director, holding this position for two years before moving on to Nottingham Building Society. At Nottingham Building Society, they served as the Deputy Chief Executive and Finance Director for a decade. In 2017, they joined The West Brom as the Group Finance & Operations Director, a role they held for six years.
