Tom L. Jones

Tom L. Jones has extensive manufacturing experience spanning over 30 years. Tom L. began their career at Alcoa in 1973, where they held various roles including Plant Manager at two locations, ABS Manager, and Chief Mechanical Engineer. In 2006, Tom joined CertainTeed Corporation as a World Class Manufacturing Regional Champion until 2012. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at The Mosaic Company, first as a Continuous Improvement Manager and later as a Technical Manager. Tom joined QAD Redzone in 2016, taking on various roles including Production System Coach, Production Systems Coach, and Continuous Improvement Coach. Tom L. is responsible for the full life-cycle of Redzone deployment and has a proven track record in Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and Continuous Improvement. Some notable companies Tom has worked for include Alcoa Aluminum, CertainTeed Building Products, and Mosaic Phosphates, Inc.

Tom L. Jones earned their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Purdue University, where they studied from 1970 to 1975. In addition to their degree, Tom has also obtained certifications in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from BMGI of Denver, CO, in October 2015, and Total Quality Management from the University of Southern Indiana in June 1996.
