Paloma McLaren Gonçalves

Paloma McLaren Gonçalves is a Full Stack Software Engineer at Reed Smith LLP since April 2022. Prior to this role, Paloma co-founded Hop Shuttle, where an ecommerce website was built in WordPress, facilitating online sales and national exposure for over 15 micro and nano breweries. From September 2020 to March 2022, Paloma served as Technical Lead at Universität des Saarlandes, managing a small team of developers while actively coding in Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Paloma's academic background includes a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications, both from Instituto Superior Técnico. Additional experience includes roles as an Ambassador for Smart Consulting and Collaborator at AEIST.
