Lucy Tapper

Lucy Tapper is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in criminal law and litigation. Currently serving as a Barrister/Litigator in Complex Crime & Private Client at Reeds Solicitors since September 2022, Lucy is also a Barrister (door tenant) at Furnival Chambers since May 2018. Additionally, Lucy has been an Associate Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University since April 2015. Previously, Lucy held the position of Criminal Barrister & Director at Reeds Solicitors from January 2010 to April 2018, where responsibilities included heading the Crown Court Department. Lucy's early career includes roles as a self-employed Barrister at 13 Kings Bench Chambers and as a Barrister at Charter Chambers. Lucy holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Oxford Brookes University and a Bar Vocational Course (BVC) from the Inns of Court School of Law.
