Patrick Lafrance

Patrick Lafrance is an accomplished animator with extensive experience in the animation industry. Currently serving as Lead Animator on the Virtual Pipeline at Reel FX since August 2018, Patrick has previously held positions such as Senior Character Animator at Tangent Animation and 3D Character Animator at both Awesometown Entertainment and Arc Productions. Notable contributions include work as a Junior Animator on various Barbie projects, Senior Animator on productions like Troll Hunters and Elena of Avalor, as well as roles in projects such as Planes 2 shorts and TinkerBell and The Legend of The NeverBeast. Earlier career experiences include animation, modeling, and texturing for various productions at March Entertainment and a role in food display for the Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers. Patrick pursued formal education in animation, completing a Master Class in Animals and Creatures from Animation Mentors in 2012 and studying at Algonquin College from 2008 to 2011.
