Tony Fan

Tony Fan is an experienced Senior FX Technical Director at Reel FX since April 2013, specializing in Houdini pipeline and workflows, along with Arnold and Octane rendering. Tony has developed a comprehensive suite of tools to enhance artist collaboration and efficiency in creating and sharing Houdini nodes. Previously, Tony held the position of FX Development TD at Rhythm & Hues, where responsibilities included developing Houdini tools for crowds, texture baking, and look development. Early career roles included Systems Operator at Rhythm & Hues, Technology Administrator at Wind-up Records, and various web development positions at Capital IQ. Tony holds an MS in Digital Imaging & Design from New York University and a BS in Computer Science and Computer & Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
