Ursula Burgess

Ursula Burgess serves as the Director of the Foundation for Community Association Research at the Community Associations Institute since January 2014 and is a Fellow of the College of Community Association Lawyers. Burgess has extensive experience in community association governance, holding positions such as Panel Chair for the Montgomery County Commission on Common Ownership Communities and Education Council Chair for the Washington Metropolitan Chapter Community Associations Institute. As a shareholder at Rees Broome, PC, and a former Associate at the Law Offices of Patrick Anderson, PC, Burgess has a solid legal background, having begun a career as a Law Clerk for the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from James Madison University.
