Michelle Valenta

Michelle Valenta has extensive work experience in accounting roles. Michelle began their career as an Accountant with the State of Wyoming in January 2012 and was promoted to Senior Accountant in October 2013. In this role, they were responsible for managing time studies for cost allocation, ensuring the accuracy of financial records for federal grants, and tracking grant balances. Michelle worked in this position until June 2016.

Afterward, Michelle joined SIMON as a Staff Accountant in June 2016 and stayed with the company until June 2019. In this role, they performed accounting tasks and contributed to financial operations.

In 2019, Michelle joined COLAS as a Senior Accountant, where they worked until December 2021. During their time at COLAS, they handled senior-level accounting responsibilities.

Most recently, Michelle joined Reeves Construction Company in December 2021 as an Assistant Regional Controller. In October 2022, they were promoted to the position of Regional Controller.

Michelle Valenta earned their Associate's Degree in Accounting from Laramie County Community College, which they attended from 2006 to 2009. Michelle then pursued further education at the University of Wyoming College of Business, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from 2009 to 2011.
