Illarion Khlestov

Illarion Khlestov is currently working as an ML Production Architect at Reface, where they are responsible for designing solutions for high-load projects and implementing MLOps approaches. Prior to this, Illarion worked at Ring Ukraine, starting as a Web Developer in 2014 and progressing to roles such as Software Engineer, Research Engineer, Senior Research Engineer, and finally, Head of Synthetic Data. During their time at Ring Ukraine, they developed and improved networks for computer vision, worked with time signal processing systems, and gained experience in developing complex machine learning pipelines. Before joining Ring Ukraine, Illarion worked as a Machine Learning Researcher at XOresearch, building machine learning modules for electrocardiogram processing and speech recognition. Illarion also researched scientific papers related to neural nets and implemented new architectures for various purposes. Prior to XOresearch, Illarion worked at Ecoisme as a Software Engineer and Researcher, where they designed and implemented disaggregation algorithms for electrical circuit data and developed REST-based API servers. Illarion also has experience working at Light IT as a Software Engineer, where they built web spiders for e-commerce sites and developed scaling systems for AWS servers.

Illarion Khlestov has an extensive education history that spans across multiple fields of study.

Illarion obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Pre-Azov State Technical University in Mariupol, completing their studies from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Metal Treatment Technology from the same university, studying from 2007 to 2012.

In addition to their technical education, Illarion also holds a Bachelor's degree in Marine Navigator and Navigation Systems from Azov Maritime Institute, obtained between 2006 and 2011.
