Fernando Soria

Fernando Soria has over 20 years of work experience, starting in 1998 as a Financial Services Representative at The Money Store. In this role, they provided clients with loan product information, resolved complaints, processed applications, and maintained knowledge of the mortgage industry.

From 2000 to 2011, Fernando worked at CustomerLink Systems, starting as a Graphic Design Specialist and later transitioning to a Web Developer role. During this time, they designed marketing materials, updated websites, improved search engine rankings, and integrated social media.

In 2014, Fernando joined LeadQual, LLC as a Full Stack Web Developer. Fernando collaborated with product managers and designers to define features, wrote clean and scalable code, and integrated data from back-end services and databases.

From 2016 to 2019, Fernando worked as a Software Engineer at Tobi, where they collaborated with product managers and engineers to expand functionality, wrote efficient code, and contributed to server-side development using Solr.

Since 2019, Fernando has been working at ReferralExchange as a Senior Software Engineer. Fernando contributes to technical architecture discussions, develops and supports product features, builds and extends web-based APIs, and participates in design and code reviews.

Throughout their career, Fernando has worked with various tech stacks, including Ruby on Rails, MySQL/PostgreSQL, jQuery/Javascript, Sidekiq, Redis, and Elasticsearch/Solr. Fernando has a strong background in software development, collaboration, and problem-solving.

Fernando Soria completed their education in a chronological manner. Fernando first attended Golden Gate University from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications Management. Later, from 2009 to 2013, they enrolled at Sacramento City College and earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Computer Science.
