Sarika Bajaj has extensive experience in the tech industry. In 2016, they began their professional career as an Intern in the New Devices Group at Intel Corporation. The following year, they interned in the New Technology Group at Intel Corporation. In 2019, they were an IDeATe Adjunct Professor for the "E-Textiles" class at Carnegie Mellon University, a Global Partnerships Co-Op on the Business Development & Marketing Team at SRI International, and a Startable Entrepreneurship Cohort Mentor at Innovation Works. Currently, they are the Co-Founder & CEO of Refiberd, a company developing an AI & robotics-based textile recycling system. During their time at Refiberd, they have raised a pre-seed round of $500,000 with lead investor Better Ventures, won "Best Bootstrap Company" at SXSW 2021, led the effort to develop a patent-pending 100% green chemical recycling process, and been accepted into Carnegie Mellon's VentureBridge accelerator with $25,000 initial funding.
Sarika Bajaj attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2014 to 2020 and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Product Ideation, Prototyping, and Development in 2018, a Masters of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2019, and a Masters of Science in Technology Ventures in 2020.
