Nisar Hundewale, Ph.D.

Nisar Hundewale, Ph.D. has a long and varied work experience. From 2001 to 2021, they have held a number of positions in various organizations. In 2001, they began as a Lecturer/Doctoral Researcher at Georgia State University, where they developed algorithms for optimal design of DNA microarray chip using CPLEX & C++, and developed combinatorial optimization tools for SNP based disease susceptibility using CPLEX and SVM. In 2007, they began teaching Graduate and undergraduate courses at University of Maryland University College as an Adjunct Professor. In 2008, they took on the role of Post Doctoral Research Fellow at National Institutes of Health, where they developed and implemented a real-time system to retrieve Patients' Drug Nisar'story from National Drug repository for the Emmergency Room of Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD, USA. In 2009, they began as Associate Dean and Professor at Taif University, where they designed statistical and machine learning algorithms to identify significant variations in personal genome compared with the benchmark human genome using R, C++, Java, and built prediction models for possible disease susceptibilities and risk factors. In 2012, they took on the role of Senior Data Scientist (AI SME) at CPA Global, where they worked on patent text analytics, NLP, search engine modeling, concept modeling, matching and mapping, predictive modeling, and data science. In 2014, they began as Chief Data Scientist at Tata Consultancy Services, where they worked on assignments at world's largest retailer, marketing, and drug manufacturers. In 2015, they co-founded Unique Computing LLC, where they served as Chief Executive Officer and provided strategic and hands-on Doctoral AI Expert (Data Science SME) specialized in Information Extraction, Knowledge Cognition, Natural Information Generation with Text, Audio, Image and Video Real-Time High velocity unstructured Contents. In 2017, they began as Executive Director Data Science at SecureLogix, where they led and executed research, development and productizing AI, Data Science, IoT, Blockchain, Big Data based products and services. In 2021, they co-founded ReFocus AI, where they serve as Chief Data Officer.

Nisar Hundewale, Ph.D. received their Ph.D. in Computer Science from Georgia State University from 2001 to 2007. Prior to this, they earned their M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Wollongong from 1993 to 1995.
