Christina Tazelaar

Christina Tazelaar has a strong background in communications and marketing. Christina began their career at the Reformed Church in America in 2005 as an Editorial Assistant, and later served as the RCA Today Managing Editor from January 2008 to October 2012. From October 2012 to June 2015, they worked as the Manager of Communication. Christina then became the Director of Communication in July 2015, where they developed and implemented a comprehensive communication strategy and supervised communication staff. Most recently, Christina served as the Chief Communications Officer, starting in February 2022, where they advanced the RCA's reputation and values, oversaw the work of the General Synod Office, and served on the Strategic Leadership Team. Their work experience highlights their expertise in public relations, strategic communication, and team management.

Christina Tazelaar attended Kalamazoo Christian High School, although the specific dates of their enrollment are unknown. Following their time at the high school, they pursued a degree in English and History at Calvin University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005.
