Morgan Gee has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They started their career as an Office of Admissions New Media Intern at the University of Georgia in 2007 and then became a Design Intern at Sliced Bread Co in 2009, where they learned design techniques and programs. In the same year, they also worked as a Senior Hill Director at Camp Merri-Mac, overseeing activities and mentoring counselors. Later in 2009, they joined Paste Magazine as a Multimedia Intern, producing and editing content for the website and conducting video interviews with musicians.
In 2010, Morgan became the Graphic Design + Social Media Director at the University of Georgia, where they designed the brand voice for the university's social media platforms and created printed and digital materials for admissions-related activities. They also managed the website and content management system.
From 2012 to 2021, Morgan held various roles at different companies. They worked as a Graphic Designer at Arch Street Creative and as the Director of Communications at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, where they handled social accounts, managed the website, and implemented effective communications strategies. They then joined Redeemer Presbyterian Church (Athens) in 2013 as the Youth Director, overseeing a large middle and high school ministry and developing leaders through counseling and strategic vision.
In 2021, Morgan joined RUF (Reformed University Fellowship) as a Marketing Specialist, collaborating with the Director of Marketing to create and implement strategic marketing initiatives.
Throughout their work experience, Morgan has demonstrated skills in graphic design, social media management, content creation, communication strategy, leadership development, and event planning.
Morgan Gee attended The University of Georgia from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Journalism degree. Their field of study focused on Magazine Design and Photojournalism.
