Lizzy Nazer

Independent Gender Based Violence Advocate, Support 2 Safety Team at REFUGE

Lizzy Nazer is an experienced advocate and educator specializing in gender-based violence and environmental education. Currently serving as an Independent Gender Based Violence Advocate with the Support 2 Safety Team at Refuge since June 2019, Lizzy has also held roles as a Domestic Abuse Helpline Advisor and Volunteer Helpline Worker. Prior experience includes working as a Forest School Trainee/Nursery Assistant at North London Forest School Nursery from September 2017 to November 2019, where responsibilities included safeguarding and planning educational activities focused on wildlife. Earlier career experience at The Conservation Volunteers involved positions as a Projects Officer in Education and Environment Education Volunteer. Lizzy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Anthropology from SOAS University of London, completed in 2007.
