Gisel Booman

Gisel Booman is a seasoned professional in the fields of environmental science and GIS, currently serving as the Head of Science at Regen Network Development, Inc., where efforts focus on bridging scientific methodologies and practical applications for stakeholders in regenerative management. Gisel has a diverse background as an independent Environmental and GIS Consultant since 2014, alongside previous roles such as Assistant Professor of GIS at Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata and GIS and Remote Sensing Consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank. Notably, Gisel contributed to the development of conservation indices for South American grasslands and has experience in wetland delineation. Gisel holds a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences with a specialization in Landscape Ecology from Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata, further underscoring a robust academic foundation in the environmental sciences.
