Ishani Mehta

Ishani Mehta is a seasoned educational leader with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as Superintendent at ReGeneration Schools since July 2022. Prior to this position, Ishani held multiple leadership roles at Uncommon Schools, including Principal at Bedford Stuyvesant Collegiate Middle School and Leadership Prep Bedford Stuyvesant, as well as Dean of Curriculum and Instruction. Additionally, Ishani has experience as an Instructor at Relay Graduate School of Education and as a Corps Member with Teach For America. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Leadership, Policy and Organization from Vanderbilt Peabody College, a Master’s degree in Special Education and Teaching from Hunter College, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from the University of Michigan.
