Clifford Whatcott

Clifford Whatcott possesses extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, holding key leadership roles in precision medicine and biomarker development. Currently serving as Associate Director of Precision Medicine at Regeneron, previous positions include Executive Director and Senior Director of Companion Diagnostics and Clinical Biomarkers at Sumitomo Pharma Oncology. Cliff has also contributed to discovery biology at Tolero Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as Director and Manager. An academic background includes a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Arizona and a BS in Microbiology from Brigham Young University. Early career experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) and an internship at TAISHO PHARMACEUTICAL CO., LTD.
