Monika Leska

Monika Leska is currently a Climatebase Fellow at Climatebase, participating in the climate career accelerator, and a Fellow in the Sustainability Consulting Accelerator at OnePointFive, where topics such as Net Zero strategies and GHG accounting are covered. Additionally, Monika serves as a Fellow at RegenIntel, focusing on sustainability strategies and regenerative systems. Monika holds significant leadership roles at the New Orleans Film Society, including Managing Director and Interim Executive Director, overseeing financial controls and various operational aspects. As a founding member of the Film Event Accessibility Working Group, Monika advocates for enhanced accessibility in film festivals. Previous experience includes project management for climate-focused initiatives with Work on Climate and various operational roles in the film sector, alongside international event management for the Polish Tourism Organisation. Monika's educational background includes a Master of Science and two Bachelor's degrees in Organization and Management of Tourism and Recreation and Cultural Studies from distinguished institutions.
