Daniel Heinsbergen

Daniel Heinsbergen has a strong background in engineering, specifically in the field of medical devices. Daniel began their career as a Student Manager at Starbucks Corporation before transitioning into a role as a Product Development Engineer at Unilife Corporation. Daniel then worked as a Contract Engineer at Belcan TechServices before joining AstraZeneca as a Medical Device Engineer. At AstraZeneca, they developed user requirement specifications and design input requirements, as well as designed test fixturing and assembly fixturing. Daniel later advanced to the position of Senior Device Engineer at AstraZeneca. Most recently, Daniel joined REGENXBIO Inc. in 2021 as a Principal Device Engineer.

Daniel Heinsbergen obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from The University of Akron in 2012. Daniel then pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins Engineering for Professionals, completing it in 2020.
