Marianne Bengtson Løvendorf completed their education at the University of Copenhagen. Marianne Bengtson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biomedicine in 2007, followed by a Master's degree in the same field from 2007 to 2010. Marianne Bengtson pursued further studies at the University of Copenhagen and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Skin and noncoding RNA biology from 2010 to 2014.
