Johnny Eriksson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and countries. Johnny started their career as a service engineer at Hugh Calihan in Phoenix, Arizona in 1986. Johnny then worked as a support engineer at Motorola AB in Stockholm until 1989. From 1989 to 1996, Johnny worked as a system engineer at Nuclear Diagnostics AB, handling installation and support of nuclear medicine workstations and applications. Johnny also worked on gamma camera installations and support in Scandinavia, Switzerland, UK, and Canada.
In 1996, Johnny joined Sectra AB as a PACS System Engineer, responsible for the implementation of the PACS function at Orebro county. Johnny worked closely with the Sectra development team and was the overall responsible engineer on-site.
In 2002, Johnny became the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at PAX Link AB, a company that delivered radiology reading services in Sweden and Norway. Johnny was responsible for setting up the technical platform and worked on customer integrations.
From 2004 to 2017, Johnny served as the CTO and a member of the management board at Telemedicineclinic.com, involved in meetings and implementations in Barcelona. Johnny also worked as a consultant advisor to ANC in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2011.
In 2012, Johnny worked as a consultant at SEHOS Hospital in Netherland Antilles, where they implemented PACS, RIS, and HIS HL7 integration for full enterprise digitization.
Currently, Johnny works as the CTO of Radiology IT, PACS/RIS systems, and integrations at Orebro University Hospital in Orebro county. Johnny is responsible for managing digital radiology and system integrations.
Johnny Eriksson attended Devry Institute of Technology and Arizona State University from 1984 to 1986, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science.
