Lisa House

Lisa House, CPHR, currently serves as a Human Resources Advisor in Employee Relations at the Regional District of Nanaimo, where engagement in employee and labour relations is a primary focus within a dynamic HR and Safety Team. Lisa's extensive experience includes a previous role as Director of Human Resources at Vancouver Island Regional Library, managing various areas such as labour relations, health and safety, and organizational development. Prior to that, Lisa held multiple positions at Western Forest Products Inc., culminating as Manager of Compensation & Human Resource Services, where responsibilities included collective agreement negotiations and employee relations. Educational qualifications include degrees from UBC Sauder School of Business and Sprott Shaw Community College, complemented by leadership training from Leadership Central Vancouver Island.
