Raj Gupta has a vast work experience, starting in 2006 as a board-certified neurologist, clinical neurophysiologist, and sleep medicine specialist at San Jose Pacific Neurology Center Prof Corp. In 2014, they became the Director of the EEG Lab at Good Samaritan Hospital. Raj Gupta also held various leadership positions at Regional Medical Center of San Jose, including President Medical Staff, Vice President Medical Staff, Chairman of the Department of Neurology, Chairman of the Department of Medicine, and Vice Chairman. Currently, they are the Medical Director of Stroke and Neuroscience at Regional Medical Center of San Jose.
Raj Gupta's education history begins in 1989 when they enrolled at the Government Medical College Jammu (J&K) in India. Raj pursued a degree in Medicine and completed their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in 1995. In 2001, they continued their medical education at the State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University, where they completed an Internship in Internal Medicine at Long Island College Hospital. From 2002 to 2005, Raj Gupta attended New York University, specializing in Adult Neurology during their Residency. In 2005, they then pursued a Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at the University of Michigan Medical School, which lasted until 2006.
